I’ve found that vodka mixes well with anything. Vodka/cranberry, vodka/sprite, etc. Smirnoff is pretty cheap ($20 something for a handle) and well worth it. If you want to get cheaper than that, go for Monarch or Popov but I DON’T recommend it.
If you guys pool together money and can splurge, Bacardi 151 ($20-$25 for a fifth) will fuck. you. up. Any chaser goes well with it. I wouldn’t try it in a mixed drink, though…
Other than that, a pre-made bottle of long island iced tea is great. You can even mix extra vodka in with it.
